I was very glad I took the time to watch this documentary. The media frenzy around this case was so intense and so ubiquitous, I must admit, I think I tuned it out after a few years. I had completely missed the fact that his girlfriend on the side, Amber Frey, was from Fresno at the time of her relationship with Scott Peterson.
I also completely missed out on the fact that they had, in fact, found the body of Laci Peterson in the same body of water he had gone fishing in the day before he reported her missing. This is a great reflective look on the local saga and the nationwide touchstone it became. Netflix has always done the documentary genre extremely well and this one is no different. Two thumbs up for sure.
