I visited the Friendship garden for the first and only time with Mike in 2018. My visit there was memorable, with plenty of beautiful scenery, a Bonsai tree section, koi fish, a lake and small waterfalls/streams, with serenity. I revisited the garden again with Mike and some friends in December 2025, a little over 7 years since my last visit. Much of the garden looked familiar to me—except for 2 details I didn’t quite remember. There’s a Sego Palm Tree path, but more interestingly, there’s Peacocks! Peacocks in Fresno are definitely an uncommon site, unlike the Peacock rich area that is Southern California. The history of Peacocks in California and the Central Valley is so intriguing that I’ll have to save that for another post. For now, enjoy some pictures.
