Several weeks ago, the Popeyes Chicken restaurant on McKinley Avenue just east of First Avenue gave up the ghost and closed its doors. It sat idly by for a few weeks with no activity but that changed two weeks ago when work commenced on what was coming next. We now finally know what’s coming next and I’m super excited.
El Premio Mayor already has a location in West Fresno on Shields and Maroa. The new location on McKinley that is set to open will be their second physical. Their website also claims they run a taco truck too and have been serving the Central Valley for 28 years.
