Fresno as a city was surprisingly mostly made up of Democrats in 2020 , even including the dumber areas like North Fresno, which seems to have too many Garry Bredefeld supporters. Even the whole county area would show a majority of democrats, as Biden Harris got more votes than Trump did. However, the 2024 results, like much of the nation, shows more support for Trump than VP Kamala Harris.
I don’t know what went wrong and probably never will, but the idea that people would vote for a traitorous criminal over someone that is a current VP in much more successful presidential administration than Trump’s own is ludicrous. The 2024 results are still semi-final so the actual results will vary once the counting is done, but I’m not sure the outcome will change. I’m definitely more curious about voter turnout, as the 2020 results report a turnout of around 75%.
